About Us

 

The Brighter Source Group seeks to develop Brighter Sources from which Brighter LITE’s can emanate. We seek to help make each person we bring into our organization better by making ourselves better everyday. 

Our purpose is to Combat Community Deterioration and promote a positive lifestyle by increasing the social welfare of the city and community where we live. We seek to increase our -selves mind, body and spirit and to use our increased strength to build a better community. 

The Brighter Source group will concentrate on fitness mind body and spirit for its members and utilizing our increased capability to further help the community and the world.

Our intended service community are people who are seeking a better way of life intellectually, physically and proactively. We will use our considerable expertise in a variety of professions to provide coping skills against stressful forces in society and expand the services in the areas of fitness, information and activity to make a good impact in the community. In the current societal climate, there is a great need for tolerance of different faiths, different beliefs and different ways. The program is a wide-ranging program designed to uplift the human spirit, mind and body. Our commitment is full and we give our lives to this cause. Our funding begins with our founders and members personal funds but we seek funding also from Public Sources and from those interested in a better society through encouraging Tolerance and Growth.

 

The Goals 
The goal is to create and operate an environment that people enjoy, is beneficial and positive. People who are seeking an intellectual, uplifting and physically beneficial lifestyle will be willing to support the group financially. 

Objectives
1. We seek to help Fight community deterioration by providing skills and services that will help uplift our community.

2. We seek to establish an Institutional building program that can last generations.

3. Our lead growth areas are Health including Fitness and Exercise, Recovery including Addiction, Depression and Grief, Security including Physical, Financial and Emotional and Life Growth in all areas.

4. We seek to provide an Incubator for skills and services to help develop more skills and services.

5. We will work to expand World initiatives for example The Tanzania Initiative that the Board will have to approve. 

6. We will recognize each year an individual or individuals who have done exemplary things in the community by awarding them with The Brighter Source AWARD- Raymond Alexander, candidate Will York Board, members may nominate a candidate limit 3.

7. We seek to build cooperatives with businesses and Public Institutions. Cooperatively we will work with businesses sharing facilities, personnel and events in accordance with our Non- profit charter.
